Seedream free: where to try Seedream 5.0 officially and what you get without paying

Seedream is a family of image models from the ByteDance Seed team: Seedream 5.0 Pro ranks 10th of 80 on Arena, right next to Nano Banana 2. Search results for “seedream free” are mostly third-party sites with Seedream in the domain and aggregators with welcome tokens. Dreamina: 120 credits a day for Seedream 5.0

Dreamina is ByteDance’s official platform for generating images and video. Its Seedream 5.0 Pro page says directly that the model is available on every account’s daily free credits. The number comes from the Dreamina FAQ dated September 10, 2026: free users get 120 credits a day, credits refresh once every 24 hours and are shared between images and video.

How many images 120 credits make depends on the model and resolution, and Dreamina advises checking the cost before you generate. What stays behind paid plans:

• the Dreamina watermark: it’s removed on download only on paid plans, starting with Basic;
• a year of free Image 5.0 generation: in 2K on the lower plans and in 4K on the higher ones;
• more credits, faster generation and Creative Upscale, a resolution enhancer.

Besides Seedream, Dreamina also has third-party models, but the terms of free use depend on the account.

Seedream without a watermark

Dreamina’s free credits are granted after sign-in, but images come with a watermark, and removing it takes a paid plan. In AI2Face, Seedream images come without Dreamina’s watermark:

How not to burn through Seedream credits
