# Kling 4.0: Kuaishou announced a video model that generates up to 30 seconds

On 28 September 2026, Kling AI announced **Kling 4.0**, the next generation of its video model after [Kling 3.0](/models/kling), which came out in February. On the official site the model is presented as “completely new”, with stable dynamic motion and immersive sound for professional production.

## What Kling 4.0 claims

The Kling developer platform names four features that will appear in the API:

- **Dynamic motion** — stable physics in fast scenes.
- **Omni references** — images and video used as a reference.
- **Native 30-second generation** — twice the 15 seconds of Kling 3.0.
- **Several keyframes** — control the scene with more than a first and last frame.

More specific figures — 4K, HDR, the exact number of references — appear in the press citing the company, but we have not found them in Kling's official materials yet. We will update this piece when the full version comes out.

## When and where it will be available

The lighter **Kling 4.0 Flash** is available now, in early access on the Kling site, along with a new page for making clips. Full Kling 4.0 and its API are marked coming soon. Kling 3.0 Turbo is already available in the API.

With 30 seconds in one generation, Kling 4.0 catches [Seedance 2.5](/models/seedance) from ByteDance, which has made clips of that length since July 2026.
