4. **Check for similarity to other marks.** AI may produce a mark similar to someone else's. Before registering a trademark, search it against databases of registered marks and refine it with a designer if needed.

- **Raster, not vector** — it needs extra work for print.
- **Similarity.** Simple shapes — a wheel, a bean, a leaf — are used by many brands.
- **Complex typefaces** may come out with uneven letters — check every letter.
