# AI poster generator: 6 event posters with accurate text — prompts and a model test

> An AI poster generator creates the whole poster in one generation: the image, the layout and the text with date and venue. We made six event posters and prints in Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image 2.5 — a concert, a play, an exhibition, a kids' fair, a vinyl market and a wall poster — and every line of text came out right on the first try. Below: prompts, a model comparison and print sizes.

An AI poster generator handles the picture, the layout and the lettering in a single generation. Just a couple of years ago, text in generated images — especially non-Latin scripts — came out as letter-like squiggles, and you had to add it in an editor. Models in 2026 write the title, date and address themselves, so the poster is ready to print or post. We tested this on six typical tasks, in Russian and in English. Every poster below was made in the AI2Face generator.

## AI poster generator: the prompt formula

A poster works on the first try when the prompt has five parts:

| Part | Example |
|---|---|
| Event and genre | rock concert, theatre play, graphic art exhibition, kids' fair |
| Key visual | a guitarist's silhouette in a spotlight, an empty armchair on stage |
| Style and palette | risograph, Swiss style, flat vector art; black and red |
| Text — word for word, line by line | headline, subheading, a line with date, time and venue |
| Restrictions | no other text, no logos, each line written once |

Write the text **exactly as it should appear** and give each line a role: “large headline”, “smaller line”, “at the bottom”. The model then builds the hierarchy itself — the main thing reads from across the room, the details up close. Add “without quotation marks”: models sometimes draw the quotes you used to mark the text.

## 1. Concert poster

```
Concert poster for a live rock show: a silhouette of a guitarist on a stage under
a single dramatic red spotlight, smoke, grainy risograph texture, black and deep
red palette with off-white accents. Text without quotation marks, each line
written once: big bold condensed headline at the top — NIGHT EXPRESS; below it a
smaller line — live concert; at the bottom — November 15 · 8 PM · Mayak Club,
St. Petersburg. Clear print-ready layout, no other text, no logos.
```

![Rock concert poster: a guitarist's silhouette in a red spotlight, the headline “NIGHT EXPRESS” and a line with the date and venue at the bottom](https://ai2face.com/_astro/concert-en.CHuKuSmQ_2quy7j.jpg "Three lines in different sizes, dot separators and a correct date. Nano Banana Pro, 2:3")

A condensed bold typeface is the classic choice for gig posters: a long band name fits on one line and reads from across the street. The grainy “risograph” texture makes the image look like a printed poster rather than a stock graphic.

## 2. Theatre poster

```
Theatre play poster in an elegant minimalist style: a vintage red velvet armchair
standing alone on an empty dark stage, a single warm beam of light from above,
dust in the air, deep burgundy and gold palette, subtle paper texture. Text
without quotation marks, each line written once: at the top a refined serif
title — The Last Bell; under it — a play in two acts; at the bottom — Premiere
December 22 · Small Stage · 12+. No other text, no logos.
```

![Theatre poster: a red velvet armchair on an empty stage in a beam of light, the serif title “The Last Bell”](https://ai2face.com/_astro/theatre-en.LbQB_NT__Z1yV7O9.jpg "A serif typeface and plenty of empty space — it looks like a real theatre poster. GPT Image 2.5, 2:3")

For theatre and classical music, try “one symbolic object on an empty stage”: an armchair, a violin, a mask. It doesn't compete with the text and doesn't require the model to draw recognizable actors.

## 3. Exhibition poster

```
Art exhibition poster, Swiss international typographic style: a large abstract
composition of overlapping shapes — a big terracotta circle, a cobalt blue
rectangle and thin black lines — on warm off-white paper, lots of negative space,
grid layout. Text without quotation marks, each line written exactly once: large
bold sans-serif title — FORM AND COLOR; smaller — contemporary graphic art
exhibition; small at the bottom — March 3–30 · Sadovaya Gallery · free admission.
```

![Exhibition poster in Swiss style: a terracotta circle, a blue rectangle and black lines, the title “FORM AND COLOR”](https://ai2face.com/_astro/exhibition-en.BHfPpi-y_1FEM7M.jpg "Grid, geometry and three levels of text. The first English attempt repeated a line — fixed with “each line exactly once”")

Geometry and a grid are the safest style for business and cultural events: there are no small details for the model to distort. In the Russian version, the model showed the poster as a printed sheet on a grey background — if you need a print file, add “the poster fills the entire frame”.

## 4. Kids' poster: fair, party, school event

```
Bright cheerful poster for a children's autumn fair in a school yard: cute flat
vector illustration of kids, pumpkins, a small carousel, balloons, autumn leaves,
warm orange, yellow and teal colors. Text in big playful rounded letters, without
quotation marks, each line written once: Autumn Fair; smaller line — games,
workshops, bake sale; at the bottom — Saturday, October 4, 12 PM · School No. 7.
No other text, no logos.
```

![Kids' autumn fair poster: cartoon children, a carousel, pumpkins and balloons, the headline “Autumn Fair”](https://ai2face.com/_astro/kids-en.BLXTWEeM_Z293g33.jpg "Commas, time and “No. 7” — all correct. Nano Banana Pro, 2:3")

For schools, nurseries and family events, use flat vector art and a rounded typeface: the poster reads both on a phone in a parents' group chat and as a printout at the entrance.

## 5. Social media poster

```
Event poster for social media: a vinyl record flea market in a loft space,
flat-lay photo of colorful vinyl records, a turntable and coffee cups on a wooden
table, top view, warm daylight. Bold modern text overlay without quotation marks,
each line written once: big headline — Vinyl Market; second line — record swap
and sale; bottom line — November 9 · 11 AM–6 PM · Loft Arena. Good contrast,
no other text, no logos.
```

![Vinyl market poster: a top-down photo of records and a turntable, the headline “Vinyl Market” and the date and time below](https://ai2face.com/_astro/sale-en.C07yf1-V_2nEa4z.jpg "A 4:5 photo poster for the feed: headline, subheading and date in three sizes. GPT Image 2.5")

For a social feed, use 4:5 or 1:1; for stories, 9:16. A photo poster (a real-looking scene plus text on top) feels more alive than an illustration and suits fairs, cafés and workshops. More on ad formats in our guide to an [AI banner generator](/blog/nejroset-dlya-bannerov).

## 6. Wall poster

A wall poster differs from an event poster: no date or venue, it's a picture for decor or a gift. The formula is the same, only the text is one word or a name.

```
Vintage travel poster for wall decor in mid-century screen-print style: white
towers of a fortress like the Kazan Kremlin and a blue river at sunset, flat
layered shapes, a limited palette of cream, coral, teal and navy, subtle print
grain. One word at the bottom in large retro letters, written once and without
quotation marks: KAZAN. No other text, no logos, print margins.
```

![Vintage screen-print style poster: white fortress towers and a blue river under a coral sunset, the word “KAZAN” at the bottom](https://ai2face.com/_astro/wall-poster-en.CcSegspG_XEQ53.jpg "A wall poster: four colors, flat layers, large lettering. Nano Banana Pro, 3:4")

A limited palette of 3–5 colors is the secret of a poster that looks “expensive”: it reads like an art print rather than a random generation. Similar ideas for your phone screen are in our roundup of [AI wallpapers](/blog/oboi-nejroset).

## Which AI makes better posters: Nano Banana Pro or GPT Image 2.5

We made the concert poster with one prompt in two models: [Nano Banana Pro](/models/nano-banana-pro) and [GPT Image 2.5](/models/gpt-image).

![Two concert posters from the same prompt: on the left Nano Banana Pro with a red beam on a burgundy background, on the right GPT Image 2.5 on black with red smoke](https://ai2face.com/_astro/concert-compare-en.DZhvddcq_Zj9COx.jpg "Left: Nano Banana Pro, right: GPT Image 2.5. No text errors in either")

| | Nano Banana Pro | [GPT Image 2.5](/models/gpt-image-2-5) |
|---|---|---|
| Text errors | none | none |
| Typography | clean sans-serif, tidy layout | textured “printed” type with a worn look |
| Image | graphic, closer to a risograph print | cinematic: smoke, depth, a stage with gear |
| Best for | text-heavy posters, business events | concerts, film, parties — where mood matters |

Both models render text without errors in Russian and English; the difference is character. Nano Banana Pro is neater with layout, GPT Image 2.5 gives a livelier texture. For multi-line text (a festival lineup, a schedule), we'd start with Nano Banana Pro. More on how they differ in our [Nano Banana Pro vs GPT Image](/blog/nano-banana-vs-gpt-image) comparison.

## Common poster mistakes and how to avoid them

Across the 13 posters in this test (6 Russian and 7 English versions), there wasn't a single typo, but one had to be redone:

- **A repeated line.** In the English exhibition poster, the model repeated the subheading. “Each line written exactly once, no repeated lines” fixed it.
- **Extra text.** Without “no other text”, models add captions, sponsor logos and made-up websites.
- **A mockup instead of a poster.** In one exhibition poster, the model showed a sheet on a grey background with a shadow. If you need a print file, write “fills the entire frame”.
- **Too much text.** We tested up to three lines. For a 10-item program, design the text in an editor on top of a text-free poster.

Check every digit of the date and time: the model doesn't misspell, but it may swap lines if the prompt is ambiguous.

## Poster sizes for print and social media

| Where | Aspect ratio | Resolution in the generator | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stories, messenger status | 9:16 | 2K | about 1500 × 2750 pixels |
| Social feed | 4:5 | 2K | about 1800 × 2300 pixels |
| A5 print (flyer), 300 dpi | 2:3 | 2K | 1696 × 2528 — exactly A5 |
| A4 print, 300 dpi | 2:3 or 3:4 | 4K | needs at least 2480 × 3508 pixels |
| A3 poster for a stand | 2:3 | 4K | about 4000 pixels on the long side — for a stand viewed from a distance |

The 2K figures are the actual sizes of our files from this test. Leave margins for print: the printer trims a few millimeters off the edge, and text right at the edge can get cut.

## Where to make a poster with AI

Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image 2.5 are both available in the AI2Face generator: make the poster in both models and pick the best one. The cost of each generation is shown before you start, and credits from packs don't expire. Greeting cards follow the same formula — see our [AI greeting card generator](/blog/otkrytki-nejroset) guide; for an event logo, see [AI logo generator](/blog/logotip-nejroset).

## Bottom line

An AI poster generator creates an event poster or wall art in one generation, and in 2026 it spells text correctly: all six posters in our test came out right on the first try, in Russian and English alike. For posters with several lines of text and a strict layout, use Nano Banana Pro; for atmospheric concert and film posters, GPT Image 2.5. Write the text word for word, line by line, and add “each line written once, no other text”. Generate at 4K for A4 and larger prints; 2K is enough for social media.

## FAQ

### How do I make a poster with AI?

In the prompt, describe the event, the key visual, the style and every line of text word for word: title, date, time, venue. Pick a portrait aspect ratio like 2:3 or 3:4 and a model that handles text well — Nano Banana Pro or GPT Image 2.5. The poster is ready in one generation, in 20–60 seconds.

### Does AI spell the text on a poster correctly?

Yes. In our test, all six Russian-language posters came out without a single typo, including dates, times and the “No.” sign. One of the English versions repeated a line — adding “each line exactly once” fixed it.

### Can I make a poster with AI for free?

Yes, a few. AI2Face gives you starter credits when you sign up, and one poster in Nano Banana Pro is inexpensive — the exact cost is shown before you generate.

### Is an AI-generated poster good enough to print?

Yes, up to A4 at 4K. A 2K poster (about 1700 × 2500 pixels) prints at A5 at 300 dpi, or at A3 for a stand that people look at from a distance.

### What's the difference between an event poster and a wall poster?

An event poster announces something and always includes a date and venue. A wall poster is a picture for decor or promo with no date. AI makes both with the same prompt formula.
